Caterpillars

Welcome to Caterpillars, home to our youngest children here at Willowcroft School.

Caterpillars is a purpose built classroom with it's own enclosed garden, offering a safe, stimulating and enabling environment for our Two year olds.

 Caterpillars is open 8:30am - 3:15pm.

 Morning sessions: 8:30am -11:30am

Afternoon sessions: 12:15pm -3:15pm.

 All day sessions are also available.

 We offer a combination of government funded and private places, accomodating your individual needs.  

Our aim in Caterpillars is to provide the children with a language rich environment where their first words can develop and flourish. There are opportunities to establish new relationships with both adults and peers, whilst experiencing their first taste of independance before preschool.

We are fortunate to be able to offer a small class size of 16, which helps support the children in feeling comfortable leaving their parents or carers for the first time. 

The children benefit from being within the school site, as we access the forest school and large playing field areas whilst the school aged children are in class. 

The staff in Caterpillars are all very experienced and dedicated to caring for our youngest children.

We allocate places three times a year, September, January and April. Places can be limited.

Children are eligible for a space the term after their second birthday.
