Wow I can't believe it is (nearly) the end of Term 4! What a busy term we have had! The children have really immersed themselves into our topic this term and have really developed their questioning skills!

Term 5

Next Term our topic is ‘Mini Beasts’ The children will be focussing upon a different mini beast each week and will hopefully spent lots of time in our garden bug hunting!

Your child will be in a new phonics group next term so please remember to bring your book bag to school every day.

PE will be on Fridays in Term 5. Please come to school in full PE kit (Willowcroft top, plain tracksuit/shorts, trainers, Willowcroft jumper)

Forest School will continue to be on Wednesdays. I have split the class into 2 groups and each group will go on alternative weeks.

You will receive a message by the end of the day detailing which group your child is in and the dates they will be going to Forest School.

Group A - 17/4/24, 01/5/24, 15/5/24

Group B - 24/4/24, 08/5/24, 22/5/24

Please wear appropriate clothes for Forest School and remember a spare pair of shoes if your child will be wearing wellies to school.

Tuesday 21st May 2024 - BUG BALL. Children to dress up as their favourite mini beast. 

Wow! What a busy term we have had in Frogs Class! The children have planted beans like Jack in the beanstalk, tasted porridge like Goldilocks, made houses for the 3 little pigs and even investigated the gingerbread thief! The children have worked really hard with their writing and phonics and have made great progress! 

Term 4

Next term our topic will be 'People Who Help Us'. We will be looking at lots of different professions, such as Doctors, Police officers and Firemen discussing how they are important!

The children will be in new phonics groups this term so please remember to bring book bags to school every day. 

PE - PE will be on Wednesday's in Term 4. Please come to school in full PE kit (Willowcroft top, tracksuit/shorts, trainers) 

Forest School - Forest School will remain on Wednesdays. Your child will be going on the following dates:

- Wednesday 21st February

- Wednesday 20th March

Please ensure your child wears warm clothes for Forest School.
