We have had a fabulous term 5 learning about People Who Help Us. The children have had lots of opportunities to practice their questioning skills with all of the visitors we have had. The children have worked really hard with their writing and phonics and have made great progress.  They will be in new phonics groups next term.  Please make sure book bags come in every day and you practice at home. 

Term 5

Next term our topic will be ‘Mini Beasts’ this is a fun topic where children will get to investigate mini beasts and create homes for them.

PE

PE will be on Wednesday afternoons. Please make sure your child comes to school in full PE kit (Willowcroft top, tracksuit/shorts, trainers) 

Forest School

NO FOREST SCHOOL in term 5.  Dragonflies will go again in term 6.

Each week we will post maths challenges linked to the learning we are doing in class.  Have a go at doing these at home.

Children will be familiar with larger numbers from daily routines such as counting children or the days in the month.
