Our aim is for all children to be safe, happy and motivated to come to school to learn. When we think about learning in the Early Years we mean play, exploration and social development as well as developing academically. For this reason, we have a play based learning environment, which enables children to develop at their own pace, to explore and make choices about their learning. Adults support and develop children’s understanding by interacting and observing children as they play, in order to move them on to the next stage of their development. Practitioners also focus on nurturing positive, learning behaviours, enabling children to be lifelong learners. 

 Nursery Provision

In Tadpoles, our room is filled with exciting and fun learning opportunities.

We have a large outdoor area in which the children can explore nature and experience their learning in an outdoor setting. The staff are fully qualified and experienced Nursery practitioners committed to providing our children with the best care and learning opportunities.

Learning takes place through child-initiated play with a huge variety of resources and equipment to help the children develop their skills and knowledge of the world through the Early Years curriculum framework.

In Tadpoles, we provide the children with a language-rich environment that promotes and develops their communication and language skills. The children have the opportunity to play safely and independently, building positive relationships with the adults and their peers.
