Welcome to Red Kites!
Hello all and welcome to the Red Kites' class page. I hope you enjoy looking at what we have been learning and are going to be learning. Also, keep an eye out for any picture updates of our learning.
Here is all the important information that you need to know for the upcoming term but if there is anything you need clarification on, please come and speak to us.
- School gates open at 8:30
- School finishes at 3:10pm
- KS2 Gold Book Assembly is on alternate Thursdays
- Homework is handed out on a Friday and is due back the following Friday
- Homework consists of:
- Reading (minimum of five reads per week).
- Spelling practice of their weekly spelling words (given out in class).
- Two pages of our homework books (which pages are sent out on Class Dojo each week).
- Homework consists of:
- PE is on a Friday, outside (weather dependent).
- 10th March - World Book Day celebration.
- 12th March - Parent teacher interviews (online).
- 13th March - Parent teacher interviews (in person).
- 13th March - Year 6 height and weights.
- 13th March - O.P.E.N. dodgeball tournament (3:45-5:00pm).
- 14th March - Volcanoes workshop (am).
- 14th March - Yoga workshop (selected children; pm).
- 25th March - Mother's day secret shopping.
- 27th March - Year 5/6 netball tournament (in-school).
- 28th March - Mother's day tea boxes.
- 3rd April - Easter disco.
- 4th April - Non-uniform day and last day of term (3:10pm finish).
