Willowcroft prides itself on using the 4Rs  to develop the qualities needed in having a 'growth mindset' and being a confident learner.  These qualities are applicable to everyone in the school, children and adults alike.  Our talented Teaching Assistant, Mr Sam Collins, then worked with the children to design a character for each of the qualities.  His art work is displayed in the school reception area. Each character represents each of the 4Rs: Resilience, Reflectiveness, Resourcefulness and Reciprocity. Our Year 6 children and teachers worked together in order to create a story for each 'Amethyst Hero' character and they came to be the master of their R. Our aim is for them to ‘always’ follow these values along with our Give me 5 rules. ‘Always’ children are kind, brave, creative and thoughtful. By showcasing our values, children earn Dojo points to spend in our school shop.
