Welcome to Tadpoles!
Tadpoles Class
We are so excited to welcome your children to Tadpoles, our nursery provision for 3-4 year olds. This webpage will be where you can find out what we are doing this term, important dates and pictures of our time here.
My name is Tasha Evans, and I am the Tadpoles Teacher and Nursery Lead.
I work alongside qualified Early-Years Practitioners: Vicky Tullett, Claire Drake, Karen Russell, Emily Doy, Olivia Carr and Alex Yacomen.
We are a very experienced team and are here to support you and your child through their nursery journey. Starting nursery can be a daunting experience, especially if your child has never left you; however, we are here to help settle your child in as smoothly as possible.
Tadpoles class offers three different sessions:
Am - 8:30-11:30
Pm - 12:00- 3:00
All day - 8:30-3:00
If you wish to choose an all-day session, you will need to check if you are eligible for the 30-hour funding on the following link:
Term 6
I can't believe we are in Term 6 now! This year has flown by, and we are now in the final term of Tadpoles for some children.
Term 5 flew by, and we had so much fun. The children enjoyed learning about different life cycles and experienced these changes firsthand with the caterpillars and Tadpoles we had in class. We successfully released the Butterflies, and the froglets went back to the pond. The children loved going on bug hunts around the garden too.
This Term our Topic is 'World Explorers'. The children will learn lots about different animals around the world and their habitats. We will look at animals on the farm and will meet some farm animals in real life when they come to visit us in our Forest School area. This term we will also learn about the life cycle of a chick and will incubate our own eggs.
In maths, we will look at sequencing and learn about 2D and 3D shapes.

2nd June: First day of Term.
3rd June: Drama workshop.
