Forest School Timetable
Throughout the year every child will have the opportunity to experience forest school.
Mr Jones is our designated Forest School Leader who runs all the sessions through out the school, but Mrs Russell and Mrs Williams are also Forest School trained within the school.
You will be informed when your child is going to Forest School when a letter is sent home giving you specific dates. Please note due to health and safety and the type of activities being carried out the maximum number of pupils in a session is 15.
On the days your child goes to Forest school, they will need to bring in a named Forest School kit. (See below for clothing list)
Clothing for your child
Following the Forest Schools ethos of......‘there is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing!’
The following clothing is recommended;
Winter (In the UK that’s normally Autumn and Spring too!)
- Vest or T-shirt
- Long sleeved top
- Hooded top / fleece or thick jumper
- Thick socks (thermal or two pairs of thin ones)
- Wellington boots
- Hat, gloves and scarf.
If your child has suitable waterproof clothing, could we ask that they bring them for their use, as the school only has a limited supply of waterproofs.
If you have any questions about Forest School please contact Mr Jones.
